PROJECT BRIEF
Research and create a profile to your client (selected by the professor). Introducing basic interior design principles, theories and conceptual processes, with an emphasis on creating small-scale living areas to accommodate the specific needs and interests of the client. Additionally, the project will focus on the environmental impact of residential interiors; you will be tasked with applying sustainable design principles and practices within the project.

CONCEPT STATEMENT
The concept for this space is Empowered Adventure. The intent of this design is to give Dana a place that she can feel welcome and comfortable in, while also being inspired by the environment around her. Inspired by the life that she has lived and the energy
she puts out into the world, the apartment will showcase the things she has spent her entire life working on. Her empowerment will be energized by the use of bold colors, as well as unique colors and textures. The concept of empowered adventure truly embodies Dana Mathewson and her way of life which is living life to the fullest and being bold enough to not let anything get in the way of that.
